This decision was a giant step forward for us as a company and an important part of our ethical collection, Ministry of Soap. We are incredibly aware of the threat that global warming and climate change pose. With this in mind, we felt that the best way for us to have a positive impact was to produce locally. This allows us to reduce the environmental implications of outsourcing across the globe, curbing the harsh CO2 implications of shipping and providing further jobs for the local community. Within our locally made soap we use only RSPO certified, ‘segregated’ palm oil, this ensures that we do no harm to environment or endangered species as we work in conjunction with local farmers.
