Giving Back with BillyChip
We're proud to share our HQ with the team behind BillyChip, a charity created in memory of Billy Abernethy-Hope—a young paramedic passionate about supporting rough sleepers and those experiencing homelessness.
What is BillyChip?
BillyChip offers a simple but powerful idea, instead of giving cash, you can purchase a BillyChip token (typically £2) at a participating café or shop and hand it to someone in need. That person can then redeem the token for food or drink, no questions asked, at any location in the BillyChip network.
It’s a safe, dignified way to give, and helps open opportunities for kindness in our everyday lives.

Fundraising Fun at The Soap Bar Café
To support the cause, our team was busy selling raffle tickets, BillyChip-themed food and drinks, donating a portion of sales directly to the charity—bringing together community, compassion, and coffee in true Somerset style.
This collaboration was the perfect fit – blending the launch of our new coffee shop inspired collection with an amazing cause supporting the homeless.
